SRINAGAR, DEC 15 – The two days District Srinagar Athletic Championship 2022 held on 14 & 15 December 2022 has been concluded here at historic Bakhshi Stadium Srinagar in which more than 230 athletes participated. Mr. Indumeet Singh (Most senior athletic player) & Manager Bakhshi Stadium Mr. Altaf Ahmad declared the championship open.
Secretary Sports Council Madam Nuzhat Gul was the chief guest while as Muzaffar Ahmad, Asif Iqbal, Ravinder Kaur, Madam Rehna, Tahir Ahmad was guest of honours on the occasion.
While speaking on the occasion President Tufail Ramzan & Secretary Tajinder Singh of Distt. Srinagar Athletic Association said we will organize more & more athletic events in the coming time.
14 field & track events held. Medalists are supposed to take part in the upcoming J&K UT Athletic Championship scheduled to be held at Jammu in the month of January 2023. The championship was organised by District Srinagar Athletic Association under the aegis of J&K Amateur Athletic Association in collaboration with J&K Sports Council & was sponsored by Amigos & Cavins.
