JAMMU, DEC 04 – NSS Unit of SMVDU organised a donation drive of old clothes and toys on campus. Old clothes and toys were collected from the employees and students of the university and distributed to the workers and small children of construction workers in the campus. The clothes were first segregated according to their size and then the needy people were allowed to choose as per their need. Many male and female workers along with their small children benefited from this donation drive. The event was conducted by the NSS volunteers under the guidance of Dr. Rajiv kumar, NSS Programme Coordinator of University. Vice Chancellor, SMVDU, Prof. R.K. Sinha appreciated the efforts of the NSS team.
