SRINAGAR DEC 04 – A friendly T20 Cricket match was played between the Cricket teams of Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar XI and Eidgah Tehsil XI at SK Stadium, Sonwar here on Sunday.
In the match, the DC XI beat Eidgah tehsil XI by 10 runs with 7 over left.
Earlier, DC Srinagar XI under the Captainship of Maean Azhar Kakroo won the toss and elected to bat and scored a total of 78 runs.
While chasing the target of 79 runs, the Eidgah tehsil XI were all out on only 69 runs with 42 balls left.
The DC XI exhibited very good team spirit while defending the low score.
During the match Junaid Ahmad and Abid Ahmad of DC XI took 3 wickets each, while 2 wickets were also taken by Abrar Ahmad.
The team of DC XI comprised of the players include
Maen Azhar Kakroo , Mohammad Irshad Bhat, Mehraj-ud din Bhat , Shahnawaz Ahmad Dar, Mudasir Nazir, Aijaz Ahmad Gilkar, Abrar Ahmed, Junaid Ahmed, Manzoor Ahmed , Abid Hussain and Umer.
While, Umpire of the match was Abid Hussain Bhat.
