JAMMU, SEPTEMBER 19 – The All J&K Non-Gazetted Forest Officers Association (NGFOA), Jammu Province, organized a Piping Ceremony to honour the newly promoted Deputy Foresters and Foresters at the Forest Information Centre, Bikram Singh Chowk, Jammu.
Dr. V. S. Senthil Kumar, IFS, Chief Conservator of Forests, Jammu, was the Chief Guest on the occasion. A large number of Forest Department employees, field staff and members of the Association attended the ceremony and extended their congratulations and best wishes to the newly promoted officials.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of several senior officers of the Forest Department, including Sh. Pradeep Chandra P. Wahule, IFS, Conservator of Forests, East Circle; Sh. Sat Pal, IFS, Conservator of Forests, West Circle; Sh. Arshdeep Singh, IFS, Conservator of Forests, Chenab Circle; Sh. Anurag Arya, IFS, DFO Jammu; Ms. Aseem, IFS; Sh. Ashwani Kumar, DFO Urban Forestry; Sh. Sunil Singh, DFO Reasi; and Sh. Dharmender Sharma, DFO, besides other officers and representatives of the Forest Department.
The senior officers appreciated the dedication, discipline and professional contribution of the newly promoted officials. The ceremony provided an opportunity to recognize their career advancement and encourage them to discharge their responsibilities with dedication, integrity, discipline and commitment towards the protection, conservation and scientific management of forest resources.
The function was held under the chairmanship of Sh. S. Gurcharan Singh, Provincial President, All J&K Non-Gazetted Forest Officers Association, Jammu Province.
The ceremony was also attended by Sh. Rajinder Singh Parihar, President, All J&K Non-Gazetted Forest Officers Association, J&K UT, who conveyed his warm congratulations and best wishes to all the newly promoted Deputy Foresters and Foresters.
Prominent members of the Association present on the occasion included Mohd. Rafi, Raj Kumar Parihar, Amardeep Singh, Nitin Charak, Diwakar Singh, Mohd. Kursheed, Tarun Mehra ,Hamid Kholi and all the Divisional Presidents of Jammu Province.
The Association congratulated all the newly promoted Deputy Foresters and Foresters and wished them a successful and fulfilling tenure ahead. The gathering emphasized the importance of teamwork, field discipline, professional responsibility and continued dedication towards the Forest Department, forest protection and environmental conservation.
The ceremony concluded with a renewed commitment towards strengthening field-level functioning, forest protection and effective management of forest resources, while upholding the values of professionalism and public service.
