A visitor in Sonamarg described the experience as magical, saying, “Everything looks so beautiful. It is truly a lifetime experience.”

Tourism officials said the fresh snowfall has increased excitement among visitors and is expected to boost winter tourism in the Valley. “Snowfall in these tourist places always attracts tourists. Despite the cold, visitors are happy and enjoying their stay,” an official said.

Local hoteliers and shopkeepers also welcomed the snowfall, saying it helps business during the winter season. They added that proper arrangements have been made to ensure the comfort and safety of tourists.
