SRINAGAR, NOV 14 – Government Medical College (GMC) Srinagar organized a run for diabetes awareness on the occasion of World Diabetes Day. The run, which started from Nishat and culminated at Duck Park Shalimar, was flagged off by Prof. Dr. Iffat Hassan, Principal/Dean, GMC Srinagar.
The event was attended by prominent officials, including Mohammad Ashraf Hakak, Administrator, and Dr. Mohammad Hayat, HOD Endocrinology. The run aimed to raise awareness about diabetes and its prevention, as part of GMC Srinagar’s ongoing awareness campaign.
By organizing this event, GMC Srinagar emphasized the importance of diabetes awareness and encouraged the community to take proactive steps towards preventing and managing the condition.
