SRINAGAR, JULY 25 – SKIMS to extend cashless treatment benefits to Central Govt. Pensioners . In view of this the MOU was singed between SKIMS and CGHS, in presence of Director SKIMS Dr. M Ashraf Ganaie & Additional Director CGHS Chandigarh Dr. Negi and Vice president Central Govt. Welfare Association Kashmir Dr. Rafeeq Masoodi. Other officers from SKIMS including Dean Medical Faculty, Additional Director SKIMS, Medical Superintendent SKIMS and senior officers from CGHS were present.
Director SKIMS Dr. M. Ashraf Ganaie said SKIMS will facilitate the CGHS beneficiaries. He said SKIMS will also take an initiative with CGHS for the Pensioners of SKIMS to be benefiited under the scheme for that he directed Nodal Officer Collaborations SKIMS Dr. Muzaffar Maqsood to work the plan with Dr. Negi. SKIMS is open to collaborations and joint ventures with international organizations, public institutions to enhance and add to the capacity building of the Institute to further improve its services, he added.
Director SKIMS underscored the need of hassle free services to the patients and said SKIMS is always in front line to ensure best patient care services and stressed for further improvement and enhancement in the patient care services for general public as well as senior citizens and differently abled people.
The Vice president Central Govt. Welfare Association Kashmir and other members of the association present on the occasion thanked Director SKIMS and Medical Superintendent SKIMS for the support and cooperation and appreciated SKIMS administration for facilitating the process. He said there are around sixty five thousand Central government pensioners in kashmir which is a huge number and card holders will get benefitted and avail services at SKIMS, tertiary care health facility of the UT, J&K.
