Srinagar 30/ 2024 : SKIMS has started a full time training in basic Life Support at its newly developed SKILL DEVELOPMENT Centre Cardiology headed Dr. Aijaz Lone Prof. Department of Cardiology. From the last two months more than 50 doctors working at SKIMS and outside has been trained.
Today these trainees were awarded the certificates and BLS cards at a brief ceremony conducted at SKIMS auditorium. The ceremony was attended by Director SKIMS Prof. Parvaiz A. Koyl, Dean Medical faculty, Dr Bashir A Laway, Head Anesthesiology Professor Skowkat A. Gurcoo and Head Critical Care Dr. Mohd Akbar Shah.
The centre will conduct the training on a regular basis and this life support will go a long way to improve the overall health care.
