SRINAGAR, OCT 02 – Two members of Kashmir Runners Club on Monday bagged twin positions in the ‘Kashmir Marathon’, organized by Jammu &Kashmir Police.
The marathon was organized from the Police Golf Course in the wee hours of this morning.
The two members of Kashmir Runners Club got awards in the Veteran category.
The duo includes Yahya Khan, who bagged second position and Shafat-ul-Basheer got third place in the Marathon.
Pertinently, Kashmir Runners Club on last Friday organized a run on the occasion of World Heart Day with an aim to create awareness among the masses about the heart diseases.
The run was organized from Bakhshi Stadium here and went through Rajbagh, Lal Chowk areas in which dozens of people from the club and from different walks as well participated. Besides prominent personalities, the children also participated in the run.
