Thana Diwas Celebrated across PD Handwara

‘Thana Diwas’ was organised at Police Stations Qalamabad, Vilgam and Kralgund and Police Posts Magam, Chogul and Langate.

In Police Post Magam, the meeting was conducted by SDPO Handwara Ms. Syed Sleet Shah-JKPS and IC PP Magam, PSI Suhaib.

The event was attended by respectable citizens, civil society members, members of the trading community, among others.

Issues related to enforcement of law, drug abuse, domestic violence, cyber crime and responsible internet usage were discussed at length. The participants were urged to remain vigilant against social evils in society.

They were also urged to identify signs of drug abuse among their family and acquaintances and seek medical help for timely intervention.
