Overwhelming response from job seekers witnessed
GANDERBAL, MAR 28 – Continuing with its endeavour to explore the career opportunities within the district, a Job Fair/Employment Fair was organized by District Employment and Counselling Centre (DE&CC) Ganderbal here at Govt. Industrial Training Institute Ganderbal.
In the fair 8 reputed National/Domestic Institutes/companies participated viz. ICICI Bank, Physicswallah, New Tiny Hearts School, Ganderbal, CT Design, Ganderbal, Dreamland Hr. Sec. School, Ganderbal, Evergreen Public School, Nunar etc.
About 327 jobseekers attended the Fair out of which 41 candidates were shortlisted for further process of selection.
There was an overwhelming response from the job seekers and almost 105 candidates were registered on the Employment Portal (integrated to National Career Service NCS Portal).
The Job seekers expressed satisfaction after having interaction with various institutes/companies and wished for the same kind of Fairs in the District in near future.
The Job fair was conducted under the overall supervision of Assistant Director Employment Ganderbal, Beenish Wani.
