DC Udhampur presides over weekly Block Diwas at Lalli

Listen’s scores of public issues and demands

UDHAMPUR, MAR 15 – Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur Krittika Jyotsna today visited Block Moungri and listened scores public issues during weekly Block Diwas programme held at Lalli of District Udhampur.

BDC Chairman, Bimla Devi, DDC Councillor, Jasvir Singh, ADDC, Ghan Shyam Singh, SE PMGSY, Sarpanches, Panches besides large number of public hailing from adjoining panchayats attended the Block Diwas programme.

Several demands and issues like shortage of staff in Health and Educational institutions, Establishment of Degree College, Construction/ Black topping of circular roads, uninterrupted power supply, electrification of un-electrified area, weak mobile network etc were putforth by the public.

The DC listened to the demands of the public and assured them that all their issues and demands would be addressed in a time bound manner. She directed the officers to work with missionary zeal so that the people of area may not deprive off getting their genuine demand.

Later, the DC also inspected the execution work of PMGSY road, Primary Health Centre at Lalli and Guest House at Khor Gali. The DC directed the concerned department to expedite the progress of works and its timely completion.
