SRINAGAR, FEB 24- Militants fired upon and injured a civilian in Bijbehara area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Friday evening.
Kashmir Zone police in a Tweet informed that militants fired upon and injured Asif Ganai son of deceased head constable outside Masjid in Hasanpora Tavela village of Bijbehara.
Police said he was immediately shifted to hospital for treatment, while area has been cordoned off.
“Terrorists fired upon & injured one Asif Ganai S/o Martyr Head Constable Ali Mohd Ganai outside mosque in Hasanpora Tavela area of Bijbehara #Anantnag. He was immediately shifted to hospital for treatment. Area cordoned off. Further details shall follow,” police tweeted.
