Weekly Block Diwas:  Chairperson DDC, DC listen’s public issues at  Block Parlidhar

UDHAMPUR, FEB 15 – Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur Krittika Jyotsna today visited Block Parlidhar and listened to public issues at a weekly Block Diwas programme held in village  Raang  of block Parlidhar.

DDC, Chairperson, Lal Chand; ADDC, Ghan Shyam Singh; DDC, Mool Raj; BDC, Parlidhar, Neelam Devi;  SDM, Ramnagar, Shishir Gupta  and other district and sectoral officers of various departments besides PRI members were present on the occasion.

DDCs, BDCs,  Sarpanches, Panches and the general public of the areas projected various issues and demands. They demanded  Up-gradation of High School  Bainsta  to next level to benefit female students, meeting shortage of staff in GHSS Rang and other adjoining schools, Construction of  Play ground and boundary wall, Additional class  Rooms for  GHSS Rang, posting of Headmasters in different Middle schools in the block, building for Health Sub Centre Bainsta, augmentation  of drinking water, provision of electricity  poles, restoration of Ultrasound machine  in SDH, Ramnagar,  filling  up of vacant post of Naib Tehsildar, Ramnagar, improvement of Mobile network, expediting the progress of ongoing work on   Plassan to Shree Pingla Mata PMGSY road etc.

While interacting with the public, Chairperson DDC and DC said that the main objective of this public outreach programme was to take a firsthand appraisal of important issues of grass root level.

They added that these outreach camps help reach governance at the doorsteps of the public which improves the public service delivery mechanism. The Chairperson DDC and DC  assured the public that all their genuine issues and demands would be addressed in a time bound manner and  directed the officers to work with missionary zeal to meet the demands of the area.
