KULGAM, DEC 15 – Under the preparatory phase of Good Governance week, Special Secretary JAl Shakti, Dr. G N Itoo who is also Prabhari Officer today visited Panchayat Halqa D.H.Pora (A) where he interacted with the PRIs and people.
He was accompanied by SDM Noorabad Bashir Ul Hassan, Executive Engineer Jal Shakti and other officers.
During the visit he listened to their grievances and issues of people and also interacted with all sub divisional level officers and frontline workers.
Speaking in a program at GDC D.H.Pora, Itoo and SDM Noorabad informed the participants that “Prashasan Gaon Ki Aur”- is a campaign for Redressal of Public issues and to provide services at their door steps.
The weeklong campaign of Good Governance week shall commence from 19th of December.
The officers urged the people to participate proactively in these programmes to avail benefits.
Later, he inspected various developmental projects and took stock of progress of ongoing works.
Meanwhile, he also took stock of progress made on various water supply schemes and inspected work sites of WSS Mirhama Modergam , WSS Tengam Tengbal & WSS Pariwan Sehpora.
