DC Kathua chairs preparatory meeting for upcoming CBT Exams by JKSSB

KATHUA, NOV 29 – In order to put in place the arrangements for the smooth conduct of CBT Examination by JKSSB for different posts, Deputy Commissioner Kathua, Rahul Pandey convened a meeting of officers of various line departments, here today.

SSP Kathua, R.C Kotwal, Additional Deputy Commissioner Kathua Atul Gupta, Registrar Kathua, Chief Education Officer, Representatives from Government College for Women, Government Degree College (Boys), Polytechnic College Kathua, Industrial Training Institute attended the meeting.

Threadbare discussions were also held with regard to the posting of Magistrates, supervisory staff, examination observers and other necessary facilities for smooth conduct of examination

During the meeting, the DC asked the heads of educational institutions to submit a list of computer knowing staff so that their services can be utilised for smooth conduct of computer based test by the JKSSB examination which is scheduled to be held from 5th Dec to 20 December 2022.

The DC directed the concerned officers to ensure uninterrupted power supply with the provision of Gen set for power backup at examination centre.

The meeting also discussed in length the security provisions where it was given out that adequate security personnel will be put on duty in and around the examination centre.
