“Soon new Policy Document will be ready for implementation as per the National Education Policy in Waqf schools”
SRINAGAR, NOV 26 – Jammu & Kashmir Waqf Board today took a lead in implementation of New Education Policy in its educational institutions. A meeting of educational heads of Waqf Institutions, guest experts and a huge number of local, national and international level of publishers and educational technology providers was held at Srinagar under the headship of Waqf Board Chairperson Dr Darakhshan Andrabi in which discussion about the requirements in educational institutions as per the New National Education Policy and it’s implementation in Waqf institutions was made threadbare. The meeting was first of its kind in Jammu & Kashmir where a creative discourse on varied aspects of NEP was held. Speaking on the occasion Dr Andrabi said that we are committed to transform every department of Waqf and educational streamlining and upgradation was our priority. “The meeting of this nature has opened gateways of innovative initiatives to be taken. Educational sector is our priority. Soon we will complete the NEP implementation document of Waqf and he hopes to take a lead in this initiative”, said Dr Andrabi. The publishers, technology providers and experts thanked the Waqf Board for taking the lead in implementation of the new National Education Policy(NEP 2020) in Waqf Schools.
