DC Jammu reviews progress of RDD works under PRI, BDC, DDC component

JAMMU, NOV 14 – Deputy Commissioner Jammu Avny Lavasa today reviewed the progress of works of Rural Development Department proposed under PRI, BDC and DDC components.

The concerned official apprised the Chair that there are total 3726 works of RDD under PRI BDC and DDC components including 3171 PRI works, 290 DDC works  and 265 BDC works.

          Under PRI component, out of total 3171 works estimates of 3055 have been prepared, 3016 have been tendered, 2424 allotted and 1178 works have been started.

          Under DDC component, out of total 290 estimates of 268 have been prepared, 264 tendered, 178 allotted and 94 started.

Similarly, under BDC component, out of total 265 works estimates of 256 have been prepared, 250 tendered, 141 allotted and 78 started.

The concerned official further apprised the Deputy Commissioner that 577 works have already been completed and many works are in different phases of completion.

Speaking on the occasion, the DC stressed on the concerned authorities to take all possible measures to accelerate the pace of various ongoing works on different projects and asked them to submit the report regarding progress of works.

The Deputy Commissioner exhorted for mobilizing men and machinery for completing the projects in stipulated time frame besides urged to ensure productive and fruitful utilization of the available resources.

Along with others CPO Yoginder Katoch, ACD Preeti Sharma, BDOs and senior officers from concerned department were present in the meeting.
