Sehrish Pays obeisance at Gurudwara Chatipadshahi, Extends Greetings to Sikh Community
BARAMULLA, NOV 08 – Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar today visited Gurudwara Chati Padshahi Baramulla to participate in the celebrations of Gurupurab, observed with religious fervour on the birth anniversary of first Sikh Guru, Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
The DC extended warm greetings to the Sikh community of Baramulla and assured assistance from District administration for smooth conduct of the celebrations.
She also directed the concerned authorities to ensure uninterrupted electricity, drinking water and supply of other essential amenities at the venue.
The DC said that religious co-existence, harmony, peace and progress of all has been the way of life of all Sikh Gurus and is the message of every religion.
Extending warm greetings on the auspicious occasion, the DC extended her wishes and prayed for unity, harmony, peace, progress and prosperity in J&K.
