Duo was involved in attack on migrant labourer in Pulwama: ADGP Vijay Kumar
SRINAGAR, SEPT 14 – Two terrorists of Ansar-ul-Gazwatul Hind (AGuH) were killed in an encounter at Nowgam area of Srinagar district on Wednesday evening, police said.
Kashmir Zone Police informed that an encounter broke out in Nowgam area on a specific information generated by police.
Police said that in the ensuing encounter, two terrorists belonging to AGuH terrorists outfit were killed.
Meanwhile, quoting Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Kashmir Zone, Vijay Kumar, police said that the duo was involved in an attack on a non-local labourer in Pulwama on September 02.
The slain terrorists have been identified as Aijaz Rasool Nazar of Pulwama and Shahis Ahmad alias Abu Hamza.
“Killed #terrorists were affiliated with #terror outfit AGuH & identified as Aijaz Rasool Nazar of Pulwama & Shahid Ahmad @ Abu Hamza. They were involved in recent #terror attack on an outside labourer namely Muneer ul Islam from West Bengal on 2/9/22 in Pulwama,” police tweeted.
