DC Jammu listens to people’s issues at R.S Pura

Assures quality disposal of public grievances

JAMMU – Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Avny Lavasa today conducted an extensive tour of Sub Division R S Pura and listened to people’s issues at a public grievances redressal camp held at SDM office.

DDC Member Suchetgarh, Taranjit Singh Tony; DDC Member, Miran Sahib, Vidhya Motan, BDC members, PRIs and a large number of people attended the camp.

The public representatives highlighted the issues of their respective areas including compensation of damaged crops, construction of culverts, up-gradation of Health, Education, Power, road infrastructure and   release of pending payments under PMAY to the beneficiaries.

They further demanded speedy completion of works pending under the back to village program.

The people of the areas also projected their demands regarding renovation of water bodies, construction of protection bunds, adequate compensation of land acquired for ring road etc.

The Deputy Commissioner reviewed the progress of development works being executed under different sectors, besides redressing several public issues including revenue matters on the spot.

The Deputy Commissioner gave a patient hearing to the people and assured them that all genuine demands would be taken up with concerned quarters and resolved in an appropriate manner.

SDM, RS Pura, Ram Lal Sharma; Tehsildar, RS Pura, S A Shad; Tehsildar, Suchetgarh, Nirbhay Sharma; besides officers and officials of Revenue and allied departments were also present during the camp.
