RAJOURI – local bus JK 11 9521 scheduled from Pukharni to Naushera slid into a deep gorge near Debatta . On receipt of information regarding the mishap and request from locals, Lam Indian Army initiated a prompt rescue mission. Regardless of personal safety the troops negotiated the steep slopes and retrieved the gravely injured locals. The injured were further evacuated by the brave troops of Lam Rashtriya Rifles in military vehicles to SDH Naushera for administration of first aid and further treatment. During the rescue mission one individual later on succumbed to his injuries identified as Lal Hussain s/o Ghulam Mohd r/o Pukharni. Among injured 19 shifted in GMC Rajouri & some in GMC Jammu as they were serious. Indian Army Lam always helping locals on different occasion at the time of need. The locals thanked Army for saving precious lives of people by displaying utmost professionalism and prompt response in rendering aid during the times of crisis.
