SRINAGAR – Congress on Saturday vowed to move forward with great enthusiasm to defeat political exploitation and wrong policies of the BJP towards the people.

AICC Incharge J&K Rajani Patil (MP) and JKPCC President Ghulam Ahmad Mir made these comments while addressing impressive gathering of Party workers from all the districts of Kashmir at Srinagar Party office.

Addressing the workers, AICC J&K Incharge Rajani Patil expressed satisfaction to see the great enthusiasm and confidence amongst the party workers present in the rally, while hailing their hard work dedication towards the party.

She said Congress Party feels strong enough, ready to face the challenges unitedly, it shall continue to work for the people, which is the legacy of the party, it is the responsibility of every worker to reach out to people with the policies and programmes of the Party.

Patil expressed confidence that Congress will defeat the wrong policies of the present dispensation responsible for the chaos especially rising unemployment, inflation and various pressing issues concerning people across the country, AICC J&K Incharge added.

Patil urged the workers to reach out to every section of the people with the programmes and policies of the Party. She also hailed JKPCC for the vibrant role it is playing despite braving the brunt of political vendetta on the part of BJP

Addressing the Party workers, JKPCC President Ghulam Mir said that Congress has experienced many ups and lows in the past, but the Party never compromised on its principles while playing constructive role in the larger interest of the Nation.

JKPCC President hailed Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi, while expressing full confidence in their leadership and assured that every party workers will remain stand behind the leadership and give their best to strengthen the party at grass roots level.

Addressing the gathering JKPCC Working President Raman Bhalla said that it was a heartening situation to see the confidence and courage of the party workers in Kashmir while describing the impressive workers convention as a signal that Congress Party is capable enough to fight back.

Bhalla said Party won’t be cowed down by the false propaganda on the part of its adversaries especially BJP, the matter of the fact remains that it is the Congress Party alone which feels the pain and anguish among the people, who have gone through worst since the BJP assumed power at Centre. No one can deny that BJP is punishing people on one pretext or the other, he said.

Congress Party will do its best to address the concerns of the people, urging the Cadres to gear up for the challenges ahead, Bhalla added and said the impressive convention of party workers has sent a strong message across India that Congress Party shall continue to remain vibrant situation despite facing challenges and political vendetta on the Part of present dispensation at Centre.

Bhalla hailed Congress workers for their enthusiasm and confidence.

Speaking on the occasion, CWC Member Tariq Hameed Karra lamented the fact  that every section of the people in the country is the victim of the wrong policies of the present dispensation, which is to be blamed for losses caused to people on account of employment, inflation and lack of development, though there has been tall claims with regard to the development on the part of BJP Govt, but in reality, the people are witnessing losses on every front.

Karra expressed confidence that Congress Party will emerge stronger in coming days.

JKPCC Vice President Haji Abdul Rahid Dar urged the cadres to feel strong to a move ahead, as that, it is the Congress which can defeat the BJP, for that matter, the party workers need to rise occasion to perform their proactive role responsibly.

Senior Party Leader, Bashir Ahmad Magrey (Ex.MLC), Gulzar Ahmad Wani (Ex.MLA),PCC General Secretary Surinder Singh Channi, Indu Pawar Mahila President and Ex. MLA, Adv.Deepika Rajawat Spokespersons, PYC President Udhay, Banu Chib, Seva Dal President, DCC Presidents of Kashmir Senior Party Leaders, Block Presidents, AICC Members, Frontal Organizations and various other leaders addressed.
