SRINAGAR – On the eve of the Constitution day also known as Samvidhan Divas, celebrated on 26th November every year to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India, a  Preamble reading ceremony was organised by District Administration Srinagar at Meeting Hall of DC Office Complex, here on Friday.

On the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Mohammad Aijaz Asad read out the preamble of the Constitution along with all senior Officers and Officials of the DC Office and reiterated the resolve of the nation to constitute India into a Sovereign, Socialist, Secular and Democratic Republic nation.

During the ceremony, participants expressed their strong will to secure to all its citizens justice, liberty and equality. Besides, promote among them all fraternity assuring the dignity of the individual and the unity and integrity of the nation.
