DC Jammu listens to public grievances at Jhajjar Kotli

Inaugurates renovated Community Hall at Dansal

JAMMU -Deputy Commissioner Jammu Anshul Garg today inaugurated a renovated Community hall here at Dansal and listened to public grievances in Jhajjar Kotli area as part of weekly block diwas program.

The Deputy Commissioner was informed that the repair and renovation work of Community Hall was executed by RDD with an estimated cost of Rs 2.88 Lakh.

Speaking on the occasion, Anshul Garg said, “Community halls are very important for every area where locals can organize social, religious and national events. He urged the village heads to collaborate with the District Administration for bringing more developmental projects to their respective Panchayats. He asked them to avail the maximum benefits from government sponsored schemes.

Later, the Deputy Commissioner also visited Jhajjar Kotli and listened to the issues/grievances of the people during a public grievances redressal camp.

The Deputy Commissioner gave a patient hearing to the issues projected by PRI members, delegations and individuals and passed on the spot directions to the concerned officers for early redress of their genuine grievances. He assured that the highlighted issues of public importance will be taken up with higher authorities besides all the pendency and public service delivery slackness shall be reviewed thoroughly.

ADC Jammu Satish Sharma; ACR Vijay Kumar Sharma; Tehsildar Dansal, BDO Dansal besides other concerned officers and local residents were present on the occasion.
