GULMARG – Kongdori area of famous ski-resort Gulmarg in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Monday received season’s first snowfall.
According to our correspondent he said that Kongdori, mount Affartwatt and Khilanmarg received season’s first snowfall today, while plains received rainfall.
They said that the first snowfall has brought cheer to the faces of tourists who were on a visit to Gulmarg from outside Jammu and Kashmir.
“Tourists were seen enjoying the snowfall, while at the same time the fresh snowfall has brought temperature down,” they said.
Meanwhile, the upper reaches of the Valley received fresh snowfall while rains lashed the valley, thereby bringing down the normal temperature.
