Srinagar – Jammu and Kashmir reported 99 new covid-19 cases even as there was no death due to the virus in the last 24 hours, officials said on Sunday.
14 among these cases were reported from Jammu Division and 85 from Kashmir Valley, taking the overall tally to 330533.
There was no death due to the virus. So far 4426—2174 in Jammu and 2252 in Kashmir—have died due to the pathogen, they said.
Giving district wise details, the officials said that Srinagar reported 41 cases, Baramulla 12, Budgam 12, Pulwama 2, Kupwara 8, Anantnag 4, Bandipora 5, Ganderbal 1, Kulgam 0, Shopian 0, Jammu 6, Udhampur 2, Rajouri 1, Doda 0, Kathua 0, Samba 1, Kishtwar 0, Poonch 4, Ramban 0 and Reasi 0.
A number of these cases were confirmed at CD and GMC Anantnag’s diagnostic laboratories. The cases include male (51) (NA) from Bemina, female (75) (NA) from Palpora, male (11) (NA) from Soura, female (43) (NA) from Bemina Sgr, female (14) (NA) from Bemina Sgr, male (16) (NA) from Bemina Sgr, female (40) (NA) from Jawahar Nagar, female (40) (NA) from Fatehkadal, male (60) (NA) from Bemina, female (23) (NA) from Kargil, female (56) (NA) from Sonwar, male (61) (NA) from Circuit House, male (23) (NA) from Barbarshah and male (23) (NA) from Budgam.
Moreover, the officials said that 108 more patients have recovered—28 from Jammu Division and 80 from Kashmir. So far 325016 patients have recovered, leaving active case tally at 1100—282 in Jammu and 809 in Kashmir.
Meanwhile, there was one fresh confirmed case of mucormycosis (black fungus) reported today, they said. So far 47 black fungus cases have been confirmed in J&K, the officials said.
The government also informed that 1,36,318 doses of covid-19 vaccine were administered during the time in J&K.
