SRINAGAR – A 4-year-old boy, who was critically injured in a road accident in world famous tourist resort of Pahalgam in south Kashmir, succumbed in a hospital, official sources said on Saturday.
They said that the minor, identified as Hasnain Ali, a resident of Bemina in Srinagar, was hit by a motorcycle near Amusement Park in Pahalgam on Friday. “The minor was critically injured in the accident,” they said, adding Hasnain was rushed to a local hospital from where he was referred to Government Medical College (GMC), Anantnag.
However, they said that after battalion for his life for several hours, the minor succumbed at the hospital. After completing all the legal and medical formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites
Police has registered a case and initiated investigation into the incident.
