“The company failed to respond satisfactorily and produced fake documents/requisite certificates in response to representation received from M/S Krishna Medi Equipments, New Delhi wherein they had mentioned that the agency does not have European CE Approval or USFDA Approval certificates”, it reads.

The representation was referred to Convenor Technical Committee for necessary action which remarked and recommended that the agency failed to produce requisite certificates by notified body and thus failed to respond satisfactorily to the queries raised and not furnished requisite documents/ certificates.

The company, it reads, was given ample opportunities to clarify their stand which resulted in protracting the procurement process too long when any delay in ensuring supply chain could result in catastrophic situation.

Underlining the seriousness of the matter the administration blacklisted and debarred the agency for five years to participate in any tendering process at SKIMS & SKIMS Medical College Bemina, it further read.
