Solan: Procuring diesel in bulk quantity at the doorstep would soon be made available in Himachal Pradesh.
Sloan district based Chandel filling station has been authorised to deliver the diesel at the doorsteps of consumers in some towns of this district.

Doorstep diesel delivery is a new revolution in the field of energy distribution in India. It is a cost-effective solution for India’s ever-growing need for diesel as fuel is required on an everyday basis for the smooth functioning of heavy machinery in local industries, generators in hospitals, civic bodies, and villages for tractors, among others.
To ease the lives of the end-consumers without the hassles of diesel procurement, Solan-based “Chandel Filling Station” has started the facility of door-step diesel delivery through their mobile petrol pumps.

Rameshwar Mann, owner of Chandel Filling Stations, running petrol pumps at multiple locations in H.P, Punjab, and Haryana has enrolled as fuelent under Repos Energy and has two single-dispensing Mobile Fuel Pumps – which will go around Solan, Baddi, Nalagarh, Ponta Sahab, Kasauli, and Parwanoo.

“The running of a Petrol pump is purely driven by quality, quantity, and service. Hence the idea of door delivery fructified. Government should encourage retail refilling at Door Delivery”, said Rameshwar Mann, owner Chandel Filling Station.
Company’s spokesperson Rishika Sharma said doorstep diesel delivery is approved by the government and is a new-age concept of effective distribution of diesel. It allows fuel startups to maintain quality and create availability of fuel for the consumers. It will hugely benefit the agricultural sector, hospitals, housing societies, heavy machinery facilities, mobile towers, and much more.
She said earlier, the bulk consumers of the diesel had to procure it from retail outlets in barrels which used to cause a lot of spillages and dead mileage in energy procurement. Efficient energy distribution infrastructure was lacking. Door-step diesel delivery will solve many such problems and will provide diesel to bulk consumers in the most legal and clean manner.
