Vi announces Covid-19 Spl Relief Offers for 60 Mn Low Income Users

Hyderabad: Vi, India’s leading telecom operator, on Tuesday announced special Covid-19 relief offers for its 60 million low-income customers to help them stay connected at all times during the ongoing second wave of the pandemic.
As a special relief offer, Vi will provide Rs. 49 pack Free to over 60 million low income customers due to the current situation, the company said in a release here.
The pack offers talk time of Rs. 38 and 100 MB data with a validity of 28 days.
With this, Vi is hopeful of enabling its customers to stay connected safely, and have access to all necessary information in these challenging times.
As a special gesture, with this one-time offer, VIL will be extending benefits worth up to Rs. 2,940 Mn to the low income group users in the country.
Additionally, Vi has also launched a new Combo Voucher RC79 offering huge benefits to a large base of the population. This special recharge comes with the benefit of Double Talktime of Rs. 128 (64+64) and 200 MB of data for a validity of 28 days for a limited time period.
Vodafone Idea Limited ,which is an Aditya Birla Group and Vodafone Group partnership, is India’s leading telecom service provider and provides pan India Voice and Data services across 2G, 3G and 4G platform.
The company offers products and services to its customers in India under the TM Brand name “Vi”.
Ookla, the global leader in broadband testing and web-based network diagnostic applications, has verified Vi, based on analysis of Speedtest Intelligence data as the fastest 4G network pan-India in Jan to March ’21.
