Srinagar: A contractual employee of Post Office (PO) was found hanging in south Kashmir district of Kulgam, official sources said.
Cash of the Post Office was also missing.
The deceased was identified as 35-year-old Shabir Ahmad Naikoo.
The family members alleged that Naikoo was murdered.
Sources said Shabir was found hanging in his rented room at Upper Bazar Qazigund in Kulgam district this morning. They said a window of the room was reportedly broken.
Police have registered a case and started investigation whether it was a suicide or murder
