DAK Welcomes Appointment Of Dr Mushtaq Ahmad Rather as Director Health Services Kashmir

SRINAGAR: Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK) Tuesday welcomed the appointment of Dr Mushtaq Ahmad Rather as Director Health services for Kashmir division.

JK UT government has appointed Dr Mushtaq Ahmad Rather Projector Director AIDS Control Society JK as Director Healthcare Services Kashmir vide 226-JK (HME) of 2021 dated 22-03-21.

President DAK Dr Suhail Naik In a press release issued to the media, hailing the appointment of Dr Mushtaq Ahmad Rather as Director Health Services Kashmir, said.

“The appointed Director Dr Mushtaq Ahmad Rather has excellent administrative skills and is a right person to head the prestigious health institution of the UT.”

“We are hopeful that appointment of new directors will bring more accountability in the system and further improve quality patient care across Kashmir apart from fulfilling long pending demands of doctors and  ” Dr Naik added.

Convenor JKDCC Dr M Y Tak while congratulating the newly appointed director said,” that we are highly satisfied that government has chosen director on basis of seniority and good administrative skills for the highest chair and we are very much hopeful that the  health care system will further grow and shine under his dynamic leadership.

Meanwhile wishing good luck for the outgoing director Dr Samir Mattoo for his future endeavours, Dr Owais Dar General Secretary DAK is hopeful that the newly appointed director will address all the issues concerning medical fraternity sternly. He further said that doctors had been let down by administrative officers from time to time and we hope that something concrete will be done viz a viz demands of Doctors.

A delegation of DAK shall soon interact with the newly director and will impress on for taking concrete move for redressal of demands of the fraternity and upliftment of health care services.
