Srinagar: Congratulating students, especially girls, who have bagged nearly 90 per cent of top ranks in the 12 class results declared on Monday, former Chief Ministers Dr Farooq Abdullah and his son Omar Abdullah said if given a chance women will excel in every field.
The message of National Conference (NC) president Dr Abdullah and Vice president Omar for women students came on the day when International women’s day is being celebrated on Monday.
A NC spokesman said Dr Abdullah and Omar congratulated class 12th students especially students who have bagged nearly 90 per cent of top ranks.
“ It clearly demonstrates, given a chance, women excel in every field”, the father-son said.
