BUDGAM – One person died and two others were critically injured in a road mishap in Sheikhpora area of Budgam on Wednesday evening.
An official said that three persons identified as Mohd Iqbal Dar, Imtiyaz Ahmad Gojri and Bashir Ahmad Gojri – residents of south Kashmir’s Tral area were injured after an Auto Rickshaw they were travelling in collided with a tipper.
However, Mohd Iqbal Dar later succumbed to his injuries at SMHS hospital.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case and the tipper driver has been arrested. “At about 2000 hours one vehicle Tipper bearing registration No: JK-04A 8385 coming from Humhama to Budgam near Pandith colony crossing hit one Auto riksha bearing Registration No: JK13G 5820,” police said.
