Mumbai: Maharashtra on Tuesday reported 9,927 fresh Covid-19 cases, taking the tally of such cases to 22,38,398.
Besides, 56 more deaths in the state were also reported, pushing the toll to 52,556.
On the other hand, 12,182 patients were discharged during the day across the state, taking the overall count of recoveries to 20,79,284.
There are now 95,322 active cases in the state.
With this, the recovery rate in the state has gone down to 93.34 per cent and the death rate stood at 2.35 per cent, sources in Health Department said.
