Karnah Kupwara | April 20, 2025:
In a spirited outreach initiative following the conclusion of the recent Assembly session, MLA Karnah and senior National Conference leader Javaid Mirchal Sahib visited multiple villages in the Reddi Chowkibal Block — including Kahanabal, Panjgam, Chowkibal, Malasariii, and Tumna.
The visit witnessed door-to-door interactions, with Mirchal personally meeting households, listening to their problems, and inspecting various ongoing and completed developmental works. These included road construction, drinking water facilities, electricity supply, healthcare centers, and educational infrastructure.
Residents welcomed the MLA with garlands and bouquets, expressing their happiness and admiration for his ground-level engagement and consistent dedication to the people’s needs. Villagers shared their concerns related to local connectivity, employment, and basic amenities, and were assured by the MLA that National Conference will prioritize equitable development across the entire Karnah constituency in the coming days.
While speaking to the people, Javaid Mirchal emphasized, “We are committed to reaching the last person in the line. Our vision is inclusive development — every village, every household matters. Karnah has long been neglected, and this is the time to bring real change.
The visit is part of a broader strategy to strengthen grassroots connection and ensure accountability after the Assembly session. Officials from various departments accompanied the MLA, providing updates and receiving on-the-spot instructions to speed up pending works.
Mirchal further stated that he would soon be visiting Tangdar and other areas of Karnah, ensuring no region is left behind. He reiterated National Conference’s renewed focus on the constituency, promising sustained development, increased employment opportunities, and better civic facilities.
This outreach marks a new phase of proactive leadership in Karnah, signaling the beginning of focused governance and people-first politics in the region.
