Re-opening of schools after vacations to be celebrated as welcome events

SRINAGAR, FEB 22 – The schools in Kashmir will re-open after winter vacation on March ist and reopening of schools will be celebrated as welcome events.

“Schools are going to re-open on 1st March 2025 after winter vacations which needs to be celebrated as a welcome event.” Reads the circular of School Education Department.

“All Hols have been advised to adhere to the instructions that the re-opening of schools needs to be celebrated in a festive ambience to attract the students in a conducive school environment; the Hols shall ensure mobilization including preparation of Institutional Plan & Time-table, sanitation, etc. well in advance, the Hols shall be responsible for keeping all requisite arrangements ready before opening of schools and ensure the minor repairs/retrofitting, if required, with regard to Drinking Water, Electricity, Toilets, window panes etc to be taken well in advance and the Hols shall ensure that the Biometric/JK Attendance Portal is in working condition and updated as per their current staff in position.

“The Schools premises must be kept neat and clean and with a festive outlook and the Complex/Cluster Heads shall hold Sensitization Sessions with their respective clusters schools to gear up all the concerned for reopening of schools in light of the above instructions.” It reads further.
