SRINAGAR, MAY 09 – Jammu & Kashmir Congress Unit President Vikar Rasool Wani Thursday asserted that INDIA alliance will form government at the Centre on June 4 this year.
He said once INDIA alliance will come into power, statehood to Jammu & Kashmir will be restored without any delay.
Addressing a press conference at party headquarters here in Srinagar, J&K Congress President said the party is hopeful that it will win 2 seats of Jammu region and 3 seats in Kashmir valley will be clinch by National Conference, a constituent of INDIA bloc.
He said BJP has been exposed across the country due to its step-motherly role to other faiths. “BJP has made Mangalsutra, Hindu-Muslim etc a political issue which clearly showed its frustration. We are confident due to such machination BJP will hardly get 150 seats at the centre,” he said.
“Congress and INDIA alliance will form government at the centre on June 4,” he asserted, and said, “Once our government will come the statehood to Jammu and Kashmir will be restored at first instance. Further harassment of government employees, fruit growers issue, electricity, smart meters like issued will be addressed. Also protection for land, job and culture of Jammu and Kashmir will be ensured”.
