SKIMS Organises 19th Management Development Program ( MDP) in association with Academy of Hospital Administration India

SRINAGAR, JUNE 07 – The department of Hospital Administration SKIMS today organised a 19th Management Development Program ( MDP) in association with Academy of Hospital Administration India at SKIMS Auditorium.

Rajiv Bhatnagar Advisor to Hon’ble LG ,J&K who was chief guest on the occasion congratulated the department of Hospital Administration SKIMS for organising the MDP which he said is an important aspect of service delivery in hospitals. While complimenting SKIMS for being the front runner in providing patient care services in any situation, he said Govt. Of UT J&K is committed to provide excellent health care services with enough resources available . He further added that management, visionary leadership is the most critical aspect of any organisation to manage and identify problems to reach organisational. goals.
Director SKIMS & EOSG Prof. Parvaiz A Koul welcomed all the dignitaries for gracing the occasion and appreciated the department of Hospital Administration for Organising a three day event where diverse topics in hospital administration are being deliberated & discussed by the experts and expressed hope that these deliberations will benefit all the participants/ students.
Dr. Yashpal Sharma National President Academy Of Hospital Administration & Dean Medical Faculty SKIMS Prof. Bashir A Laway also spoke on the occasion and complimented department of Hospital Administration SKIMS for hosting the event and underlined the significance of such programs in delivery of patient care management. They said these academic programs provide wide platforms for sharing knowledge and experiences and benefitting the patient care.
Prof. Farooq A Jan Medical Superintendent SKIMS presented vote of thanks. He thanked all the dignitaries for gracing the occasion and organising secretary Dr. Shahnawaz Hamid for valuable contribution. ” The discussions and deliberations by various experts during the event will benefit participants and widen their perspective on hospital management which is the main & essential service area in all hospitals, he added.
H.O.D Hospital Administration & organising Chairman of the event Prof. G.H Yatoo welcomed the all dignitaries and participants of the event. While giving a detailed description of the program he said the experts will deliberate on various topics of importance on Hospital Administration & Management and thanked administration for support.
