50 year old VDC member shot himself to death

RAJOURI, APRIL 10 – Village Defense Committee VDC member Suresh Kumar Sharma s/o Sukhdev Sharma committed suicide by shooting himself with his own VDC gun. According to the information received from the police, the local people had informed the police that at around 9:00 pm on Monday night, VDC member Suresh Kumar Sharma had shot a bullet with his own gun, due to which he died. A police team has been dispatched to the spot from Kotranka police station. On the other hand, SSP Rajori Amritpal Singh, while confirming the news of VDC member committing suicide with his own bullet, said that the said person had shot himself with VDC gun. Police have been dispatched to the spot and further action has been initiated. He said that a proper investigation into the case will be made.
