The program was organised by Range Police Hqrs Srinagar as part of the Civic Action Program (CAP) of J&K Police to reach out to the families of the martyrs. The aim of the programme was to extend sports facilities to the wards of Police Martyrs so that they can participate in various sports events and remain physically fit as well as mentally happy.

Vijay Kumar impressed upon these young minds that there is no shortcut to success and urged them to stay away from drugs and make a mark in life which will also bring solace to the martyr’s soul.

Sujit Kumar, DIG CKR expressed satisfaction that J&K Police remembers its martyrs and through these functions we express our care for their families. The function concluded with lunch which was served by RPHQ team to all the wards as well as their guardians who attended the function, the statement added.
