KATHUA, FEB 04 – Deputy Commissioner Kathua, Rahul Pandey today convened a meeting of officers here in the DC Office Complex to review the working of the Jammu Power Development Corporation Ltd (Power Development Department).
At the outset, the DC was apprised by Superintendent Engineer, JPDCL about the physical and financial progress achieved under different schemes to augment power availability and distribution in the district.
While reviewing progress of PDD sector schemes under District CAPEX, Languishing, DDC, BDC and PRI grants etc, the DC directed the concerned to ensure clearing of financial liabilities where funds are available besides stressing on early removal of bottlenecks for timely completion of all works.
The DC called upon the engineers to speed up the works so as to rule out any chance of carrying forward any financial liabilities.
The meeting was attended by XEN, AEEs and besides other concerned officers.
