A Wronged System

Some awards are achieved and several among them are made. There are many who instead of making efforts to attain a position, make their way through easy trails. In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, there may be hundreds and thousands of such cases. If traced accurately, many of these beneficiaries might either be dead or retired by now. They are the inheritors of what is regarded as luxurious to possess in the region – the acclaimed government jobs. One more case of fake appointment of a government teacher appears. His name is missing from the list of those selected for the position. The appointment order doesn’t carry it either and he has been enjoying the riches for no genuine reason. It could have been avoided if the authority was sincere. Regrettably, the appointment was made in order to manipulate the system and make wrong overcome the right. It is the order of the day in the valley. There is no one to blame, no one to be blamed for the faults intentionally established in society. But its end should be near. The administration must probe into the issue and ensure the people of no further injustice. The authorities must be directed to restrain themselves to make illegitimate use of control over the system. There needs to be a justified system in which all the youth is given an equal chance to participate in the opportunities made available by the government. Such hapless situations discourage the aspirants and weaken the system as a whole.
