SRINAGAR, AUG 17 – People of Pir Panjal region congratulated her Superintendent of Police Ms. Sheema Nabi Qasba, presently posted as Superintendent of Police Handwara (PD), brought laurels for the entire police force for Jammu and Kashmir as she has been awarded Chief of Army Staff Commendation and GoC in C Commendation. Ms. Sheema is the lone police officer in the entire country who has been awarded with elite Chief of Army Staff Commendation in 2022.The notification in this regard has been issued by Ministry of Defence wherein name of Ms. Sheema Nabi Qasba is figuring at serial number 401 and she is lone cop in entire country to have received this elite felicitation from Indian Army.
Alongside, Ms. Sheema has also been awarded GoC in C Commendation for this pivotal role on Counter Insurgency and other security fronts in Rajouri district when Ms. Sheema was posted District SP.
She did a commendable job in Rajouri and people of the entire Pir Panjal region congratulated her on receiving this award. DDC, BDCs, PRIs , Members of Civil Society and the general public congratulated her and wished her great success in future ahead.
