DC Kathua inspects progress of ongoing works in Mahanpur; Inspects Government offices

KATHUA – Deputy Commissioner, Kathua Rahul Pandey today conducted inspection of different Government Offices in Mahanpur of Sub-Division Basohli.

The Deputy Commissioner was accompanied by ADC Basohli Tilak Raj Thapa; CPO Uttam Singh; Tehsildar Basohli, Tehsildar Mahanpur and other district & sectoral officers.

He inspected the recently completed Block office building, Higher Secondary School Mahanpur where work of digitization of Jamabandis was in progress. The Deputy Commissioner asked the revenue staff to ensure due care and diligence in digitisation of land records and also directed the patwaris to adopt a people friendly approach so as to make public service delivery easy and accessible.

He also inspected ongoing construction work of Tehsil Office Complex Mahanpur being executed by JKPCC.

The DC directed the staff to remain available to the public and solve their problems and grievances. He further asked to ensure the quality disposal of public grievances. While interacting with the revenue staff, the DC laid stress on clearing the pending mutation works within stipulated time besides directing them to organize regular camps in Patwar halqas to facilitate the public.

Later, the DC visited Niyali and inspected the ongoing Construction work of 108 Mtr. Span Double lane Motorable Bridge over nallah Behani, its approach road and upcoming Sports field near Govt. Higher Secondary School Mara Patti.
