REASI – In view of 8th International Yoga Day AYUSH Department Reasi today organized a Yoga camp at Panchayat Ghar Kadmal (Kotli Bajallian) Katra.
It was organized under the guidance of Director AYUSH J&K Dr. Mohan Singh, Deputy Commissioner, Reasi, Babila Rakhwal and District Nodal Officer AYUSH, Reasi Dr. Ravinder Kumar Pandita.
The event was 3rd in the series of 7 Iconic Yoga Sessions, prior to the event of 8th International Yoga Day on June 21, 2022.
In the camp prominent citizens/ PRI members and general public participated. Dr. Sushma, Medical Officer AYUSH Dispensary Kadmal along with Vikram Sharma, Junior Pharmacist AHWC Sule with the help of Yoga Instructor Rahul Nargoch demonstrated various Yoga asanas and pranayamas beneficial for health.
After the session a lecture was delivered by Dr. Sushma, Medical Officer regarding benefits of Yoga and asanas.
