SRINAGAR – A policeman escaped unhurt in a suspected militant attack in Srinagar Friday afternoon, official sources said. They said an an unknown militant fired upon an unarmed policeman at a residential Colony in Batamaloo Srinagar but he escaped unhurt. ” It was a miraculous escape,” an official said. Soon after the attack, the police and central armed police force rushed to the area. A search operation has been launched to locate the attacker.
