Free masks & Sanitizers distributed among Tourists and locals by Cricket Fraternity Dalgate in Srinagar

SRINAGAR –   The Cricket Fraternity Dalgate has distributed free masks to tourists and passers-by in the vicinity of world famous Dal Lake here today.

The Fraternity launched a special campaign in the vicinity of Dal Lake on Sunday to implement the Corona guidelines, and free masks and sanitizer were distributed among them.

Throughout the day, Fraternity distributed masks among tourists, passers-by and locals while a banner was also erected at Badyari chowk Boulevard urging people to  implement SOPs to prevent coronavirus.

Fraternity Patron Showkat Ahmed Sofi said that the purpose of such a campaign is to educate the people about the virus so that they can protect themselves as well as others from this virus.

He said that Cricket Fraternity Dalgate not only gives useful advice to the youth regarding sports but also our volunteers are in the forefront during disasters.

Fraternity chairman Javed Mehboob and President Imtiaz Munshi said the campaign would continue to raise awareness about the global epidemic coronavirus.

He called on the public to adhere to the Corona SOPs to prevent further spread of the virus.
