One unidentified militant killed, says Police

SRINAGAR –  An unidentified militant has been killed in an ongoing encounter at Hyderpora, Srinagar, Police said Monday.

Kashmir zone police tweeted: “#SrinagarEncounterUpdate: 01 unidentified #militant killed. #Operation going on. Further details shall follow.”

Earlier, police said that an encounter started between security forces with the militants at Hyderpora area of Srinagar city at around 6:15 pm.

Kashmir zone police also tweeted: “#Encounter has started at #Hyderpora #Srinagar. Police & Security Forces are on the job. Further details shall follow.”
